“Because Tribe517 do not source their ingredients in large batches, it means the product is at its best and is fresh each time. They take their time to find the right local supplier for the ingredients, at the right time they’re in season (like we do, too).
“There are no nasties or preservatives in any of Tribe517’s products, so this ensures the essential oils used can take centre stage and they provide so many benefits for your face and body.”
Something we really love about Tribe517 is how each product smells beautifully fresh – you’re enveloped in a relaxing aroma as soon as the lid comes off! What are your favourite products to work with in the Potting Sheds?
“This is almost an impossible question to answer, as the Tribe517 products certainly seduce the olfactory system!
“If I really had to choose, my top three would have to be the Cool China powder that we use in our Luminance Brightening Facial, the Warm Star powder that makes up the body mask for our Digest & Detox Wrap and the Honey Butter – it’s incredibly moisturising.”
Can we expect some new treats from the Potting Sheds as part of our new partnership?
“I have had the freedom (and fun!) to create my own body wraps for THE PIGs using Tribe517 products and natural clay. The wraps are particularly luxurious and help to support everyday ailments – from body aches and pains and fatigue to quality of sleep and stimulating the lymphatic system.
“It’s important to remember that, while we use Tribe517 products, our PIG therapists create their own style of treatments – you’ll never find cookie-cutter “standard” treatments at THE PIGs!
“Our therapists always maintain a freestyle technique to their massages and facials, and we add our own Piggy quirks in – like the fresh water or tea we serve after a treatment, blended with unique herbs like apple mint and pineapple sage picked from the Kitchen Garden that morning.”
We know it’s impossible to choose, but what treatment is your favourite on the menu right now?
“It has to be the new treatments that I have been able to create inhouse. The Muscle Recovery Wrap is made up of an anti-inflammatory lavender mask that is applied all over the body while your therapist gives you a relaxing foot massage. You feel really rested.
“Another favourite is the Classic Sculpt Prescriptive Facial – it’s completely tailored to your skin’s needs, and I added a gua sha facial massage to help your skin leave visibly lifted, hydrated and radiant.”
