Suitable for 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children with a king-size bed and twin bed.

Lodge 1 overlooks the Kent Downs and is the larger of the two Lodges. It has a very spacious lounge with log burner and well stocked kitchenette, and then upstairs a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin room with en-suite shower room.

      The availability shown online for THE PIG-at Bridge Place is live and always up-to-date. If you can’t find the date you’re after, please email reservations@thepighotel.com so we can add you to our waiting list.

      However, it’s worth checking out our other properties as we may have rooms or tables available elsewhere.

      Bringing Dogs

      THE PIG welcomes well-behaved dogs to stay in a small number of rooms across most of our hotels, excluding THE PIG-in the wall and THE PIG-on the beach*. We kindly ask owners to help us respect the sensitivities of all our guests and staff by asking you to follow our Dog House Rules to avoid ending up in the doghouse! To book a dog friendly room please email us at reservations@thepighotel.com or give us a call 0345 225 9494.

      We do not permit dogs inside the restaurants, although they are welcome to join you on a stroll around the grounds or for outdoor dining when our terraces are open. Please note at THE PIG-in the wall we only permit guide dogs into the property.

      Children and Family

      Children are more than welcome at THE PIG-at Bridge Place, both in the restaurant and to stay. At THE PIG-at Bridge Place, some of our rooms are suitable for an extra bed or cot, just ask us when booking and we can arrange this for you upon your arrival. 

      Dress Code

      We’ll never tell you what to wear. Our restaurant at THE PIG-at Bridge Place is informal and relaxed, so come in whatever makes you happy and comfortable.

      Food Service Times

      Breakfast: Available for residents from 7am-10am Monday to Sunday.

      Lunch: 12pm-3pm Monday to Sunday

      Dinner: 6pm-9.45pm Monday to Sunday. 

      Garden Oven: Our Garden Oven is now closed for the winter months and will re-open in Spring 2025.

      Lunch bookings at THE PIG-at Bridge Place are advised, however, Dinner bookings are essential! Please note we do not take bookings for the Wood Oven or Afternoon Menu.

      Gift Vouchers

      We offer monetary vouchers, as well as lunch, dinner and treatment vouchers. These can be purchased here. 

      Please kindly note that you are unable to redeem a gift voucher online to make a booking. Please book your room as normal and the team will refund any pre-payments with proof of your voucher. Please just contact reservations@thepighotel.com

      Breakfast Rates

      Unless we are running a special deal and it is stated within the terms, all of our rates are on a room only basis so are inclusive of VAT only.

      Breakfast is served in the restaurant at THE PIG-at Bridge Place where you can choose to either dig into our PIG grazing breakfast tables or pick something hot from our breakfast menus. Prices range from £17.95-£22.95.

      Checking in and out

      You can check in from 3pm at THE PIG-at Bridge Place, however, you’re more than welcome to arrive earlier to drop off your luggage and explore the gardens.

      Check out is by 11am. We ask that you leave your room by this time, but please enjoy the surroundings all day. We can’t guarantee an early check-in or late check-out, but stick around and let us know your plans and we will try our best on the day. 

      Accessibility

      At THE PIG-at Bridge Place there is access to the grounds and the restaurant in the Coach House. Due to being a listed building there is currently no wheelchair access to the main house. For more details please contact us by completing our online form, using our live chat system, or by emailing us at reservations@thepighotel.com

      Electric Vehicle Charging

      We currently have four 7KW Pod Point electrical charging points for vehicles at THE PIG-at Bridge Place if you require charging during your visit. You will need to use the POD Point App to access the charger, and will be charged 75p per kWh of charge; overnight charging is required for full charge. Charging will require use of the Pod Point app and a registered account - this can be found at https://pod-point.com/products/driver/app. These POD charging points are fully compatible with all electric cars but please note you must bring your own charging lead. Once your car is fully charged we ask you move it to a regular parking space.

      Allergens

      Restaurant: Please speak to our Restaurant Team at THE PIG-at Bridge Place if you have any questions about the menu, allergies or dietary requirements when you arrive.

      Garden Oven: Please advise your server of any allergies or dietary restrictions. We cannot make gluten-free flatbreads as the oven will be used for the regular flatbreads so there is guaranteed cross-contamination. The BBQ section of the menu is gluten and dairy-free as well as being vegan.
