You’ll wander the patch we call home to find the best in season pickings, enjoy a freshly foraged lunch prepared by THE PIG team in the heart of nature, and ask questions with the best in the field. Kitchen Garden Tours at THE PIGs

Every day at 11am, our gardeners will be hosting a Kitchen Garden tours across all our PIGs*. Dig a little deeper into THE PIG’s plot to plate ethos with a peek into our polytunnels, greenhouses, veg patches and raised beds. Open to guests and day visitors alike – why not stay for a delicious lunch afterwards too?
Local walks and bike trails

Elham Valley Way & North Downs Way
Approx. 5.6 miles (135 minutes)
This walk will take you down the Elham Valley Way through the villages of Bishopsbourne and Kingston. You then cross over the A2 and come back along the North Downs Way. The walk is very flat and is generally dry under foot. You pass by the Mermaid Inn and Black Robin pub. When you reach the cross at Bishopsbourne church a short detour to the left will bring you to a tea room. -
Hops and Railway Circular Walk
Approx. 3.2 miles (90 minutes)
This walk takes you to Bishopsbourne with its pretty church and restored railway station. On the way back you pass old Hop Kilns and a no-longer farmed Hop field. The walk is flat and generally dry.
