We’re long-term fans of House of Hackney at THE PIGs. From cushions to curtains and wallpaper to furniture, you’ll find so many of their prints and pieces round at our place. That’s why we’ve teamed up for a chance to win a very special treat this winter...

At the heart of THE PIG’s eclectic style is our interior design whizz and Creative Director, Judy Hutson. “From the moment we first visit a new building, I absorb its character,” says Judy.

“I get influenced by the building’s original architecture, its mood and also its surroundings – what you see when you look out of the windows. I always want the fabrics and furniture and paintings to connect with that.”

A little more about House of Hackney...

Our friends at House of Hackney get their inspiration for design in a similar way – a fellow B Corp, family-founded brand by husband-and-wife Frieda Gormley and Javvy M Royle.

“Nature is our muse, so everything we make is designed with purpose. We like to think of our products as ‘future heirlooms’ – pieces that are created with such skill and integrity that they will stand the test of time.”

A PIG favourite

Like us, House of Hackney champion artistically designed British pieces made by local craftspeople – it’s one of the many reasons why you’ll find so many of their fabrics and furnishings across THE PIGs.

A firm favourite of Judy’s is House of Hackney’s enchanting Moon Garden print. “When I saw it, I absolutely fell in love with it,” she says. “It really lends itself to what both of us are all about; we love to bring the outside in”.

  • Competition closes at 11.59pm, Thursday 12th December 2024.
  • Entries after this date will not be valid.
  • Only entries made via THE PIG website will be considered.
  • The winner will be chosen at random.
  • The winner will be contacted on or before Monday 16th December 2024 by email. If the chosen winner doesn’t respond by Friday 20th December 2024, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
  • The prize:
  • The stay at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay must be used Sunday – Thursday within 12 months from Monday 16th December 2024 (excluding week commencing 23rd December 2024 – Wednesday 1st January 2025, and Bank and Public Holidays).
  • No part of the prize can be exchanged for cash, or a prize of equal value including cash alternatives.
  • Drinks, food, treatment and transport outside of the outlined prizes are not included.
  • The prize is as stated and is non-transferable.
  • Entrants must be 18+ years of age and a UK resident to enter, excluding employees of the promoters or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
  • The prize cannot be transferred to another person.
  • We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the draw or the prize due to any circumstances that arise beyond our control.
