Book NowRight, you are in for a serious treat!
We are bringing you a one-off wine tasting and dinner with acclaimed wine writer, importer and restaurateur Dan Keeling, based around his bestselling new book ‘Who’s Afraid of Romanée-Conti? A Shortcut to Drinking Great Wines.’ (Quadrille). A no-holds-barred voyage of discovery, from sourcing good cheap vino to drinking its most unattainable and holiest of grails – Romanée-Conti – via the universe of interstellar wines that lie in-between.
The book has garnered ‘Book of the Year’ plaudits from everyone from The New York Times to The Financial Times. Now it’s your chance to hear about many of the wines and stories contained in the book with Dan in conversation with renowned author and journalist Kate Spicer (The Times), followed by a four course PIG feast.
From how Dan and his business partner Mark Andrew went about finding their cult house wine Chin Chin to Europe’s most exciting new wine regions and what it feels like to taste the world’s most fabled red, this is an evening not to be missed!
On the night we will be tasting Chin Chin–Vinho Verde, Suertes del Marqués - Trenzado, Simon Bize - Savigny-lès-Beaune & Thierry Fournier–Champagne
You will be able to buy a copy of Who’s Afraid of Romanée-Conti? for £30 on the night and have it signed by Dan.
