Drinks
Kitchen Garden tipples, classic cocktails and English wines in our cosy bar.
Discover our tipples from garden to glass...
Whether you’re joining us on a sunny afternoon for a chilled Kitchen Garden cocktail on the patio or hunkering down on a sofa in the bar for the evening, we will smash, muddle, blend, shake and throw our way to making you your perfect drink.
Like our restaurant, our aim is to provide high quality products in the most sustainable, local and resourceful way possible.
Our location means we are lucky enough to be surrounded by some award-winning artisan breweries, wineries and distilleries. Not to mention our sister property, The Village Pub, just a stone’s throw across the road, for delicious gravity-fed ales, local lagers – and a very warm welcome from the Pub Landlord, Luis!
English Wine
Wine brings people together – it is the perfect blend!
Loving local is in our DNA and, when it comes to wine, we love nothing more than fruit from our own soil. We have such a big passion for it, it was inevitable we would venture into creating our own one day. So, after planting carefully chosen clones of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and a few rows of Gamay in our small, sheltered chalk site at THE PIG-in the South Downs, and renovating the south-facing vineyard at THE PIG-at Groombridge, we couldn’t be more excited to share our first homegrown wines with you, ready to enjoy on our menus!
Meet some of our friends found behind THE PIG Bars
-
Sapling Spirits
Sapling Spirits are our go-to vodka and gin, a spirit that adds the extra clean, creamy, and smooth taste to any tipple. Sapling are a carbon neutral, B-Corp certified, climate positive, refillable, regenerative, tree planting team of sustainability champions, who also produce some of the best Vodka and Gin in the UK - their spirits are created using local British ingredients after all!
-
Pentire Drinks
Pentire are botanical non-alcoholic spirits, based just a stone's throw away from THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay in Cornwall. Their spirits are light, refreshing and best drunk outside (preferably in the sunshine!)…and we can't get enough of them! Distilled using native plants to the Cornwall coastline, Pentire pairs perfectly with our garden-to-glass tipples that the PIG Bar Teams muddle up.
-
Cotswolds Distillery
Our friends Cotswolds Distillery are our house whisky behind the bars across THE PIGs - and just 28 miles away from us at THE PIG-and The Village Pub. They’ve been carefully crafting delicious, award-winning whiskies (as well as delicious gins and liqueurs) using traditional methods and the highest quality raw ingredients from the Cotswolds for over 10 years. We’re BIG fans of their single malt whisky – and we know you will be too.
No need to book!
Just drop by for a tipple or two in our bar lounge or outside on the terrace. Why not order some Piggy Bits whilst you're at it?
