Introduction to Beekeeping
Dive into the world of Beekeeping at THE PIG-near Bath with our full-day workshop. This hands-on, friendly course is run by local expert and founder of Knights Beekeeping, Martin Knight, alongside our PIG team!
Suitable for beginner beekeepers.
Kitchen Garden Tours at THE PIGs
Every day at 11am, our gardeners will be hosting a Kitchen Garden tours across all our PIGs*. Dig a little deeper into THE PIG’s plot to plate ethos with a peek into our polytunnels, greenhouses, veg patches and raised beds. Open to guests and day visitors alike – why not stay for a delicious lunch afterwards too?
Our fallow friends
THE PIG-near Bath is home to lots of four-legged friends, including chickens, pigs and a herd of fallow deer who roam peacefully around the Deer Park munching away!
We've made note of plenty of scenic strolls that will take you around the edge of our Deer Park. Just ask our Reception team who will be able to point you in the right direction!
Depending on which room you're resting in, they might even be the first faces you see each morning as the sun rises.
