Crisp walks, cracklings fires and comforting, flavourful dishes… there’s so much to savour at this time of year in our cosy corners of the English countryside – especially around the table. That’s why we’ve created a simple menu of much-loved PIG classics that celebrate the season and the best of autumnal British Kitchen Garden produce.
Think colourful, crunchy autumn salads with homegrown veggies like golden squash and earthy beetroot pulled from our plot the same morning, and golden-pastry topped pies bubbling with slow-cooked, braised meat sourced locally on our doorstep. Expect signature PIG classics of creamy risottos with zero-mile mushrooms, and platefuls of fresh homemade pasta, rounded off with comforting crumbles and tarts brimming with rich burgundy fruit grown in our Kitchen Garden fruit cages.
