See in the start of the festive season by sleeping over at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, with dinner, breakfast, and two tickets to Heligan’s enchanting Night Garden trail included, from £409 per room*.
*Based on two people sharing one double room, single occupancy from £307 per room.
We’ll have the crackling fires lit, a stash of board games at the ready and a cosy armchair waiting for when you arrive at our place. You’ll tuck into some hearty and wholesome winter dishes from our 25 mile menu before heading to The Lost Gardens of Heligan to wander through their magical, larger-than-life wildlife installations and lanterns.
When you get home, we’ll warm you up with a hot toddy or a hot chocolate – and in the morning, sleep in, breathe in the crisp coastal air and enjoy a full PIG breakfast in our cosy restaurant.

Just a 50-minute drive from us at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, The Lost Gardens of Heligan are tucked away in St Austell on the south Cornish coast. Their historic Victorian estate and grounds have so much to explore, from the 60 acres of woodland that are home to iconic, hidden sculptures, to the sensitively restored productive garden – brimful with over 300 varieties of seasonal produce that are dished up daily for the kitchen’s lunch menu (an ethos that is very close to our hearts!).
Illuminate your winter nights
Heligan’s award-winning Night Garden is a real treat for the festive season. You’ll stroll through glittering tunnels of lights, explore the woods and gardens lit with incredible installations and lanterns, and gather round the fire pits to toast marshmallows and sip mulled wine in the heart of nature. With big, cosy lounges awaiting you back at THE PIG, and a bed so comfy you won’t want to leave – it’s the perfect winter treat wrapped up for Christmas!
Terms and Conditions
- Bookable for one-night stays, Monday – Sunday, from Friday 15th November – Sunday 22nd December 2024.
- Your booking includes accommodation for one night at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay, a three-course dinner from our 25 mile menu (includes 1 side per person, excludes drinks), two tickets to The Lost Garden of Heligan’s Night Garden, and a full breakfast at THE PIG-at Harlyn Bay the next morning. Other food, beverage or Potting Shed treatments are not included.
- “From” room rates are subject to availability on a first-come, first served basis.
- Full pre-payment required at the time of booking.
- Room rates will vary depending on room category.
- Transport is not included.
- Booking rates are based on adults-only. Children (under 18) are welcome – their ticket to the Night Garden and accommodation will be included in the rate, however dinner and breakfast will be charged additionally.
- We have a 72-hour cancellation policy on room bookings – should you need to cancel or amend your stay to another date within the above date range, outside of the 72-hours, please contact us on 0345 225 9494.
- The two tickets to the Night Garden at The Lost Gardens of Heligan are redeemable on the night of your stay and can be used at any of the allocated time slots from 16.30pm – 20.00pm. Time slots run consistently with 15-minute gaps from 16.30pm – 20.00pm.
- If the weather should reach extreme levels, the Night Garden will be cancelled for safety (this will be advertised on Heligan’s website) and your tickets will be redeemable on another evening in this circumstance. FAQs to the Night Garden can be found here.
